Privacy Policy

Centide (the “Company”) treats users' personal information with care and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws. This policy applies to the centidesoft.com website (inquiries, bug reports, and notices).

Personal information processed while using the MaruLog app and web (marulog.centidesoft.com), such as diaries and accounts, is governed by the separate MaruLog Privacy Policy.

1. What we collect and why

• Inquiries & bug reports: email address, message content, attached images, the service and environment in use, and app version, OS, device model, browser, and language settings. Collected to answer your inquiry and to reproduce and fix bugs.
• Abuse prevention: we do not store your IP address. We keep only an irreversible hash, used solely to block repeated spam and to keep notice view counts from being inflated. The hash used for view counting is deleted automatically after one day, and a notice keeps only its view count.

2. Retention and destruction

Inquiry and report records are deleted automatically one year after they are received. If you'd like earlier deletion, request it at the contact below. Transaction records subject to a legal retention duty are kept for the period set by that law.

When the retention period ends, an automated job that runs every week deletes the report record together with its attached images. Electronic files are deleted so that they cannot be recovered, and we keep no printed copies.

3. Third parties and processing entrustment

We do not sell your personal information or provide it for advertising. To operate the service, we entrust processing to the following.

• Google Cloud / Firebase — data storage and authentication
• Supabase — attachment image storage
• Cloudflare — website hosting and automated spam prevention
• Google Workspace (Gmail) — sending reply emails
• Upstash — temporary storage of hash values for spam blocking and view counting (not raw IP addresses)

4. Your rights

You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of the processing of your personal information. Request it at the contact below and we'll act without delay.

5. Cookies

We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. We use only the following cookies that the site needs to work.

• Language (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers the language of the page you are viewing. It is removed when you close the browser.
• Admin sign-in: set only for operators who sign in to the admin pages. It is not stored for regular visitors.
• Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile): on the inquiry and report forms, Cloudflare checks technical information about your browser to filter out automated requests, and may use its own cookies or browser storage for this. It is used only to block bots.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not stop you from reading the site, but the spam check on the inquiry and report forms may not pass.

6. Security measures

• All communication is encrypted over HTTPS.
• Report data is exposed only to admin-authenticated requests.
• Attached images are re-encoded on storage, removing metadata such as location.
